The Object: By possible agricultural pur-
suits to release men for heavier work in the fields.
By organized effort to develop the abilities of
women to the greatest extent. By association
and co-operation to develop patriotic under-
standing and community spirit.

Special labor for this year: Fruit packing,
picking and grading.

Miss Charlotte Noland assisted by Miss Ros-
alie Noland and Miss Katherine. Dorst have
made arrangements to pick the largest peach
orchard in Virginia. The work commences July
28, and continues until sometime in September.

The pay is twenty-five cents an hour for effi-
cient workers. There should be no difficulty in a
woman making $2.00 per day.

Lodging is furnished free. Table-board will
cost from fifty cents to seventy-five cents per day
depending upon the cost of food. This board will
be deducted from the waces the women make.
On rainy days or days when no work can be
done the expense of table beard will be paid by
the company.

Expense: The expenses are: uniform smock,
$1.50. Any suitable bloomers. If buying new
bloomers use same material as smock; hat, $0.25.

Equipment: Each candidate must bring one
wash basin, one cup or glass, two towels, marked

with her name. Bedding is provided, but it is
recommended to bring a pair of blankets, a dress-
suit case or bag is the only luggage allowed be-
side these other articles.

In the camp there are shower baths, toilet
facilities, mess-hall and recreation room with a -
plano.

cte, apply to your recruiting officer.

Attached is a registration blank. Fill it out
and send it to your nearest recruiting officer.
