Dear Mr. Bussinger:
Enclosed is the first requisition for payment from the
centractor. We have checked this and, paynent is recom-
mended.
visited the -isb several tiraes last week and had our
structutal engineer out, and we have had to lower the
footings in several places orl the lower end to get firn
bearing. The soil ls real fira a short ways dor,rn but
ls overlain wlth a ssft sedinentary deposit which is
unsuj.table for bearing. An extra charge wi11. be coraing
up on the footings, but an accurate record of the extra
work is being kept.
