section is constructed so that watt-densities are maintained at conservative levels for efficient performance
.llrALlrY €oNTRoLIED Thermalink standard watel
immersion pipe plug units are designed and precision
enEineered for long lasting, trouble free performanee
in all water immersion heating applications. They
are economical, because the heat is generated right
where it is to be used; there is no heat lost in trans-
fer. Thermalink units will perform under
and long
life.
Standard pipe sizes are observed
throughout construction. Thermalink heaters consist
of one or more magnesium oxide filled tubular ele-
ments, brazed into a standard hex pipe header.
(Terminal ends are constructed to seal against the
entrance of moisture.) Cylindrical terminal housings are then securely fastened to header.
Heaters are furnished with or without controls. Controiled heaters are available with on-off switch, 3-heat
switch or integral thermostat control.

A take-up nut assembly is used to install a standard pipe plug Immersion
heater in a thin-wall open-top tank. It eliminates the necessity of welding
