Dear Mr. Bussinger:

f am enclosing herewith a chart for naking a dip siick for
measuring the oil in the storage tank. The dirnensions of your
tank are 810r' dLameter and 1612" long. The dip stick is a good
idea but at the same time there is no reason why the gavge should
not work. I have called Mr. Wuttz, the mechanical contractor,
about it and he will come out and make it right.
I would suggest
that when Mr. Durfey gets the dip stick made he call Mr. Wurtz at
+5fir3-4455 and nake an appointment with hin. He can then check
the gauge agair.rst the dip stick and make the necessary adjustments.

I would also like to take this opportunLty to remind the school
board that we are very much interested in any new work which may
be coming up in that atea. Wei have recently expanded our office
facilities
with a view to irnproved services, and last week our
Kno1ls
Stepfen
School was exhibited at the A.A.S.A. Convention
in Ail-antic City as one of the outstanding examples of school
planning in 1958. You nay have seen it there.
I believe the advantages of having an architect located nearby
were abundantly demonstrated in Douglass Elenentaxy School. A
great many sma1l problems arose which we were able to take care
of quickly without delaying the work.
We

will

appreciate any consideration the board can give us

new work is proposed.
