Dean R. M. Pugh of Storer
College highlighted the Assem-
bly hour, at Douglass High
School, April 18, 1951.
The student body with ex-
pectancy listened attentively to
Dean Pugh as he spoke on
“Discovering One’s Uniqueness.”
He discussed the demands of
our time for trained leadership.
The three basic qualities one
must possess
1. Faith in one’s self
2. Faith in the world
3. Faith in the Surpreme Being
Regardless to obstacles one
must face life with courage and
be loyal to his task.

For the past weeks, the Jun-
iors have been

the historical background of
France. Illustrated booklets
were made by each member of
the class. Posters and charts
