We, the undersigned being majority parents of children
riding the Evergreen Mills Road School Bus wish to advise
the School Board of a condition concerning the operation
of said bus and recuest that action be taken to correct
same,
The operztor of this bus has not driven with the care
condusive to the safety of the children in his charge.
His speed, while within the legal 35 miles limit, is
entirely too fest considering the condition of the road,
the number of passengers cerried, and the age of many
children. Swinging from one side of the road to the
other at excessive speeds, apparently to svoid ruts,
has slung children from their seats and across the aisle.
Proper caution is not taken at turns and cross roads.
Brakes have been applied so quickly at regular stops that
children heve been forced from their seats and the tires
has skidded at least ten feet, The jar caused by the
present driving over the rough roed has resulted in some
children complaining of stomach ache. .

We petition the School Board to replace the present,as
soon as possible with a more mature man, one who can be
depended upon to exercise the proper care in driving and
