WINNERS OF A POPULARITY contest which
aised funds for activities at Douglass High School
are Louise Paige second, Joyce Martin, first, and
Betty A. Jackson third. The three girls’ sponsors
reported 5¢ ticket sales totaling $140, $176, and
$123 respectively. Nine girls competed in the con-
test directed by Isaac Daniel, shop instructor.
