Books have been sent to the Temporary Chairmen. You may
contact them if you wish to use any of the books aveilable.
Books may be borrowed bj individual teachers from Mr. C. We
Dickinson, Jr., Director School Libraries and Textbooks, State Board
of Education, Richmond, Virginia.
ADDITIONAL LIBRARIES
Mr. Emerick has informed me that we may purchase S additional
library units ($60.00). The orders and 15,00 contribution for each
unit must reach his office by Merch 1, 1947. All teachers who wish
to purchase a unit or part of a unit will please let me know right
away. I would like to have all requests by February 1, 1947. Schools
that have received no library or portion of a library this school
year will be given first consideration.
I trust that you will give the above mentioned matters serious
and immediate attention.
