to our public schoole in your issue ol the week beg
September ¥ 4th would lend much encouragement to our school
wor.ers of the county. The appraching school year will
usher in several changes Or improvementis in our gchool
gyston. he new county unit law and tne revised compul=
sory education law boilh o7 whieh are just becoming efiectiive
toll of & epirit of progress in virginia's public schools.
The money invested in Loudoun County during the present
ealendsr year in new buillings that vill be sued for the
firet time Auring the spprosching gession is srester than
the smount invested for a similar purpose during any other
ten yesrs. These buildings aua their approximate cost for
builainge and new equipment sre:
Leesburg $73,000.00
Purcellville 18,5600.00
Bamilton 1£,000,00
