MR, WILLIAM BIRDSALL
DEAD FRON PARALYSIS;
END GOMES SUDDENLY
Mr. Willia m Birdsall, well
known and highly respected cit-
izen of Purcellville, this county,
died at his home there on Thurs-
day evening. Upuntil two hours
before his death Mr. Bivdsall ap-
peared in good health and excel-
lent spirits. He had just attend-
‘ed the funeral of the late Clax-
ence Trussell that afternoon. At
six thirty Thur sd ay he was
stricken with paralysis and lived
barely two hours.
The deceased was in his 68th
year and was exceptionally hale
for a man of his vears. It is said,
however, that he had not been
strong since th e death of his
wife less than a year ago, an d
that his condition was brought
about by grief over her death.
He is survived by one child, Miss
Rebecca Birdsall.
The funeral service took place
on Sunday at noonin the Friends
meeting house, Mr. Birdsall be.
