11 A, WILLIAM BIRDSALL
OEAD FROM PARALYSIS;
EHD COMES SUDDENLY
Mr. Willia m Birdsall, well
known and highly respected cit-
izen of Parcellville, this county,
died at his home there on Thurs-
day evening. Up until two hours
before his death Mr. Birdsall ap-
peared in good health and excel-
lent spirits. He had just attend-
ed the funeral of the late Clar-
ence Trussell that afternoon. At
six thirty Thursday he was
stricken with paralysis and lived
barely two hours.
The deceased was in his 68th
year and was exceptionally hale
for a man of his years. Itis said,
however, that he had not been
strong since th e death of his
wife less than a year ago, an
that his condition was brought
about by grief over her death.
| He is survived by one child, Miss
Rebecca Birdsall.
The funeral service took place
on Sunday at noonin the Friends
meeting house, Mr. Birdsall be-
ing a member of the Society 0
Hicksite Friends, and his body
was laid to rest in the Lincoln
ce_l?etery by that of his beloved
