With one notable exception, the physical connection with Edwin Washington, Most records have nothing to do with the history of the school system; but are of interest in that club attracted civic leaders.
- Oscar Emerick was President of Leesburg Rotary in 1945 and 1946, perhaps other years.
- Thick files include club activities about feeding liberated peoples of Europe, and dealing with other issues.
- There are also recommendations of the Loudoun County Tuberculosis Association.
- Aug 25, 1953: Report on the Leesburg Inn, which had been recently purchased by the Board of Supervisors to use as county offices. The building had been the HQ for the Rotary Club of Leesburg since 1927, when the club was founded. Today, this is the location of the Circuit Court Archives. This is also the location of where Edwin Washington Worked as a youth.
- In 1955 the club gave awards to students at Leesburg High School.
- Nothing in the files deal with Black students.
