6.5 Birth Certificates

  • Birth Certificates 1953-56: There was a push to convince students to provide proof of who they were, using birth certificates.  In some cases, this proved difficult. Some documentation provides significant genealogical and biographical data.  Two files were for African Americans.  The rest were for whites.
